Artist Statement:

Elizabeth W. Seaver's new oil paintings in the Members' Gallery in April, 2008 are a song of praise to color.  She has been taking black
and white photographs and creating block prints for over 25 years, but it wasn't until she moved to Fredericksburg in 2000 that she began to
paint.  In this show, the graphic nature of her relief printmaking roots is evident in the strong contrasts, line and repetition of pattern.
Join her First Friday, April 4th from 6-8:30 in the Members' Gallery at FCCA.

Opening Reception will be April 4^th 6-8:30 PM.
