September 2010 National Art Exhibit juror's bio -- Amie Oliver:   Awards & Juror's Statement

Amie Oliver is both a nationally and internationally acclaimed exhibiting artist and art educator.  She received her BA in Art from Mississippi State University, MFA from Bowling Green State University and did postgraduate work at Tyler School of Art/Temple University and The Visual Studies Workshop @ SUNY/Brockport. She has received numerous awards, honors and fellowships as an artist, guest lecturer and teacher and has been awarded artist residencies Vermont, Virginia, France and Germany.  Her artwork has been exhibited throughout the U.S. and abroad including current projects at Capital One, in Richmond, VA: "Paper Journeys," an international exhibition she curated of artists who worked in Tibet and at Randolph Macon College in Ashland, VA:  "Artists and Writers," in which she was invited to collaborate with her husband Harry Kollatz, Jr for a group exhibition in early 2011.  Ms Oliver's bio; press release
