February 2011  Regional Art Exhibit  juror's bio -- Kyra Malia Swanson:

Kyra Malia Swanson is the Assistant Curator/Registrar for the University of Mary Washington Art Galleries, in Fredericksburg, Virginia.  She was formerly Exhibition Assistant at the Renwick Gallery, Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington, D.C.  She has served as a Consultant at the Mint Museums, Charlotte, North Carolina, and as an Associate Curator of Decorative Arts.  Ms. Swanson received her Bachelor of Arts from American University in 2000 and her Master of Arts from New School University, Parsons School of Design at the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.
