Juror:
BJ Kocen is owner and
Co-Director of glave kocen gallery, a contemporary fine art gallery in Richmond,
VA. He provides guidance to buyers for private art collections and serves as a
consultant for corporate collections. He also provides spatial planning for home
and office collections
BJ has been involved in the arts since a very young age and carried that interest through college graduating from VCU with a Theatre Performance degree. From acting BJ moved on to his love of Music and became Promotions Manager of the Ashland Coffee and Tea where he helped build the room as a place for National touring acts. It was there in Ashland where he met his wife Jennifer Glave and they have been working together in the visual arts now for 6 years. The glave kocen gallery just celebrated three years and has quickly become one of the most popular galleries in the Greater Richmond Area. BJ still enjoys playing music and just recently released his first solo recording," The Breaks" produced by international touring artist Paul Curreri. |
