FIRST FRIDAY OPENING RECEPTION

Like most of the galleries in Fredericksburg (VA), Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts hosts an opening reception the first Friday of every month from 6 - 8:30PM, with a Juror's Talk given from 6:00 - 6:30PM.  This gives the docents, artists, and others who are interested an opportunity to be informed & understand why the Juror (who has been chosen specifically for this show) has selected the pieces to be exhibited for this particular art show.  However, this June & July, FCCA had their exhibit openings on Saturday.

First Friday Opening Reception in June 2008 of "Student" & "Special Invite" in the Frederick Gallery & Members' Gallery with juror's talk given by Carrol Morgan.
