First Friday is a city-wide art gallery walk held on the first Friday of every month.  FCCA hosts a reception from 6-8:30 PM with a Juror's talk given from 6-6:30 PM.  This gives the docents, artists, and others who are interested an opportunity to be informed & understand why the Juror (who has been chosen specifically for this show) has selected the pieces to be exhibited for this particular art show.  However, this June & July, FCCA had their exhibit openings on Saturday.

First Friday Opening Reception in June 2008 of "Student" & "Special Invite" in the Frederick Gallery & Members' Gallery with juror's talk given by Carrol Morgan.
