Announcements for the 2010 Annual Members' Meeting 11-7-10:
According to what Jeanne has read in the FCCA Newsletter September/October/November 2010 issue,
The FCCA Annual Members' Meeting is planned for
Sunday, November 7th (2-5pm)
St George's Episcopal Church
905 Princess Anne St (George St entrance)
(probably a visible sign near the entrance to indicate?).

One of the important items on the agenda is to vote for members for the Board of Trustees (caretakers of the organization and property for FCCA Members' and the Public).  The FCCA bylaws include information as to how nominations are made:  If you would like to nominate someone, along with their signed consent send your nomination via email to Lynette Reed at president@FCCAva.org.  If you do not have access to email, mail or drop off your nomination at the Silversmith House:

no later than October 8th.

The Member Holiday Show 12-10: call-for-entries

Membership Due Date:
Members, take note that the expiration date of your FCCA membership is on the address page of your newsletter.  Your will receive one notice stamped on your newsletter that your membership is about to expire and a subsequent notice that your membership has already expired. You may also call the FCCA docent on duty and they can look up your membership expiration date for you or you can email Shirley Whelan at WHEL38@cox.net for an e-mail confirmation of your membership status.

Take a look at FCCA’s updated website.  If you would like to be included on the member’s page, provide information and images about your upcoming shows, awards, recognition, publications or link to your website to FCCA Webmaster at webmaster@fccava.org.  Request what specific information you want posted and mention that you are an FCCA member.

December Annual Members’ Holiday Show:
One of the benefits of being a member is that you are eligible to display and sell your art work at an all members’ holiday show in the FCCA members’ gallery and there is no entry fee.  Exhibition dates are usually end of November to beginning January.  More information & flier will be posted on the 2010 Members' Gallery Schedule.

Art Ed Chair 9-19-10:
FCCA Board of Trustees had been interviewing individuals for Art Ed Chair:  "Karen Julihn has graciously accepted the nomination of Art Chair, and has been busy working on workshops & classes."

New Board Members 6-21-10:
Bob Worthy has resigned from the Board. Meredith Talley and Rachael Carroll were confirmed by the Board on June 14, 2010, to be board members until the next election.  Meredith will be Members’ Gallery Coordinator and Rachel will be member-at-large.
