Helpful Information for FCCA Members during
2009-2010:
1.
FCCA Member Artist who has been
accepted to show artwork in the FCCA
Members' Gallery during 2009 or 2010 -- to be considered for display on
the FCCA website:
You may send,
along with your name, the
show title of your exhibit, and the
month or dates of your exhibit in the Members' Gallery,
submit ONLY to
websitephotos@fccava.org

a.)
Any # of digital
images of your artwork to be displayed in the Members' Gallery exhibit -- each
image named [without spaces; only with capital or lowercase letters, numbers,
dashes, underscores]
should be labeled/titled with your name, title, medium of
that particular piece of artwork, as well as
the month in which you've been chosen to show; images can be of individual art pieces &/or as wallshots
[ie: SherbertEliot-SpringDaisy-acrylic-painting-4-06 or
SherbertEliot-wallshot-acrylic-paintings-n-stone-scultures-4-06];
b.) Digital images of the
First Friday
Opening activities/crowds;
c.) A short artist's statement/bio;
d.) Your website or email link -- all to be considered for this FCCA website.
*In addition,
plan to coordinate with the
Members' Gallery Cordinator, Bob Worthy, when to hang, to tear-down, &
to clean up; how to plan the refreshments with FCCA help; and coordinate a time
when you can volunteer 2-4 hr of docent time for that month; Remember,
your show in the gallery can only stay open with someone to volunteer to docent,
greet guests, share history of this

to view & purchase artwork from
Frederick Gallery & the
Members' Gallery.2. Dear FCCA Member Artist &
Other Artists: If your artwork has been accepted into any
FCCA
Frederick Gallery exhibit: If your artwork has
been accepted into an FCCA Frederick Gallery exhibit you
may send,
ONLY to

a.) A
digital image of any of your artwork that has been accepted into
the Frederick Gallery Exhibit, b.) Your name, c.) Accepted artwork title &
d.) Medium, e.) Along
with the title of the Exhibit your artwork was accepted into;
f.) As an FCCA
Member, you may also send your web address along with the digitals of your
accepted artwork, if you'd like the weblink displayed on the FCCA site;
g.) In
addition, check with the
Docent
Coordinator to see if you need to volunteer to sit as docent at the FCCA
desk for 2hrs the month your artwork will be displayed.

Furthermore, if you are an FCCA Member accepted into any other exhibit, received
an award, been published, presenting a workshop, etc, etc, etc, please keep us
informed via
websitephotos@fccava.org
[Jeanne Tanks], so we can display "what you've been up to" on FCCA
Members' Pages.

FCCA Members:
Application for
juried shows into 2010 exhibits in the Members' Gallery, has been
completed. This
"call-for-member-artists"
was only
open to FCCA Members.
