Jeanne Marie Tanks of Glass Aglow Studio & Network-Learning Art School is a professional artist with over 40 years experience teaching 2-D & 3-D art subjects, including pinhole & traditional black/white photography and darkroom procedures; intaglio, block, silk-screen, and monotype printmaking; oil, watercolor, and encaustic painting; stone, clay, fiber, metal, wax, and stone sculpting; tapestry and surface design (specifically silk).  However, Jeanne is most widely known for her work in heat-formed and manipulated glass.  For the last 14 years, she has become a leading specialist in the area in kiln-formed glass art.  Her artwork has been jurored into numerous shows in VA, NC, MD, FL, NY, AZ, NM, & MI, where many pieces of her artwork have received numerous awards, and many are in private collections across the USA.  Artist Statement  Goal
