represents (all cancer) for "Survivorship and Cancer Awareness."

Description of Hydrangea Parfait:
This summer before her surgery, the artist painted the Divinely inspired watercolor on canvas,"Hydrangea Parfait".  With such an uplifting name as this, the art exudes joy from the rainbow-colored hydrangea blossoms, each with one of the colors of the ribbon colors for cancer.  Each color moves the eye around the painting for spontaneity of joy in life. And the watercolor technique is a reminder of the blessings of the soul as you see the flight of them in the top of the painting, as flower petals turn into stars.
Painted in memory and honor of my family.
  Carol R. Resch

In addition, Carol's art and 2 new poetry books (+6 others) were available at the Colonial Beach Artists Guild's Art Walk at Tides Inn B&B, October 10, 2008 through the month of October.
