***Beckett Finenster Forbes was born 6:25am on 11-2-08 at 7 lb 2 oz & 18 1/2"!  Baby & Mom (even though 20 hr labor--wow! she should be tired) are doing so well!  Mama Niki is an early retired element teacher from King George, then worked at the Univ of Mary Washington library.  Daddy Ben is a computer science instructor at Brook Pt.  Both parents are very busy with their sweet little one -- while Grandparents are adorningly smothering the little one with love.  Though doing so well, as you know, they should stay away from exposure to germs of other people, etc, and need time and rest, so ... ...  I know you understand that they are not ready for company -- nor too many phone calls.

***Member Ana Rendich has received a kidney donor!  Please find out what you can do to help spread the word.
As some of you are aware, Ana Rendich has been blessed to receive an 0-neg kidney transplant! recently -- Truly a Miracle!  And she is home doing so well -- so her two young daughters may grow to young adulthood with her guidance and love through the Lord.  It will take a long time before she can entertain company or visit First Friday if ever, she was telling me last week.  It's very complicated.  Glenn is "guarding" the castle gate, so you need to speak with him about any plans.  Some dear friends of the Art Community are helping with meals occasionally, I believe/I hope.  But Ana, too, must stay away from germs of many of the rest of us, so ...  This could be a highly dangerous situation.
