FIRST FRIDAY OPENING RECEPTION

WGRQ promoting the Arts

Like most of the galleries in Fredericksburg (VA), Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts hosts an opening reception the first Friday of every month from 6 - 8:30PM, with a Juror's Talk given from 6:00 - 6:30PM.  This gives the docents, artists, and others who are interested an opportunity to be informed & understand why the Juror (who has been chosen specifically for this show) has selected the pieces to be exhibited for this particular art show.  However, this June & July, FCCA had their exhibit openings on Saturday.

First Friday Opening Reception in October 2008 of "October Regional" in the Frederick Gallery with Johnny Johnson, juror.
